Typing Reflection

I already knew what the typing test was. I had taken it last year. As I started the test the first time this year, i wasn't bad nor good. It was average. What could I say. Mostly in the vacations, the only time I used the computer was to play. Playing games in the computer involves the mouse and WASD keys. I really didn't practice a lot, but, with time I got better. I was improving a lot but was looking at the keys while typing. Technically that was cheating. I was improving every day until I got the message that they were going to give us a "Blind Test". So from then I started to write without looking at the keys. From there on I dropped a lot referring to my scores. My personal goal was to improve my scores without looking at my keys. I never achieved my goal or havent achieved it yet. I think I will get average scores (20 WPM) concerning the scores I have right now without looking at the keys. Probably my accuarcy would be very bad as I havent practiced a lot. So I think I wont be the best but neither the worst.

Future Artifact

I can say 2 words that would describe this project which are fun and easy. It was pretty much looking at some tutorials and taking some things from them. Practically it was fun to fool around with some tools. Sometimes, fooling around helped give the special touch to my project. The only thing that really mad me mad was the Gradient Editor. This was used so I could make the twirl effect pretty cool, but, the problem was that I didn't know how to get to that tool. Practically that was my only challenge and I resolved it by using some other technique which would not work as well as the gradient editor. I have to say that I would sometime like to make another one of this projects but on my own. I pretty much liked everything except the machine that did the Effect of the time traveling. It was pretty bad work there but anyways, still pretty cool. It was definitely fun.

I really don't know what to say. It is really confusing. I had to get the author of this piece to explain me what is was. He told me it was a dog-making machine. At last I thought it was pretty dull. Why don't you buy a dog at a store? Probably the machine would be more expensive. Then he told me that you could combine 2 or more races of dogs. I thought this to be not as dull as I thought first. Still, I cannot say much about this work. Still, it could be a science machine as new dogs are made and you could actually find a perfect dog. I think some people would pay a lot for this machine.

This is actually something pretty cool. Practically this project could really be invented. It could be a world revolution for fat people. I would like this if I were fat. I probably wouldn't buy this artifact in the future as I pretend to stay skinny. It could totally change the world as fat people could go to marathons or even move. I really think this could be a revolutionary invention.

Rain tutorial

Rain was a vital part in my project. I decided with the time travel to make it look like a rainy day. Originally it was supposed to be a dark place when time travel happened. What happened next was a mistake. I made almost everything look blurry. So i decided kept the blurry and called off the rain. The picture showing in the tutorial is a dark mansion with rain.

Worm Hole Tutorial

In the image there is shown a beach with a spiral in the middle. That looks like a worm hole so i decided to do one. I practically would use the concept of the worm hole idea. My real project was a time traveling chair or wristwatch. This made it easier for me to do that. Again, i copied idea and made my own time travel.

Social Media comments

My ideas haven't changed a bit. People specifically say everything that was in the youtube videos. The copied every word. I saw the video before. It was like watching the video again but in text. Their Ideas are pretty null so I stay with my thoughts. I cannot say much about their comments but that they really dont know everything that is out there. There are a lot of risks but most of them dont get it. As I said before, may ideas haven't changed.

Artifact from the future

I picked this picture for many reasons. Cell phones can be very annoying. With this tooth you can contact people without even speaking loudly. Also, it is decay proof which means that it should last forever. Also, it should be a relief if you are driving your car. Also, the police couldn't charge you for talking while driving (for distraction and possible accident).It would be very helpful also if it was resistant. You may be able to loose your teeth but with many of these you could have teeth for a life time or even longer.

With nothing to loose but money in this operation, it should be a good choice to get it. It probably would be very expensive at the date of release but soon, it would lower price and almost everybody could afford it. Those are the reasons I chose this picture.

Social media is something that would affect the people the minute it started. Social media is the internet, I-pods, television, radio, and all sorts of electronic communicating in some way devices. Everything inside the internet is social media. Social media can be for many things like games, newspapers, blogs, etc. Some people think social media is a fad. This means that everything that shows up will later go or be forgotten. It is like a newspaper but involving people’s lives.

Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter are good examples of social media. All of this websites have dangerous features. In these 3 websites you make your own page and add personal stuff. You may also add friends and even people you don’t even know. This people can actually be kidnapers or something else looking in your webpage for some clue of where people live and stuff. Even people knowing this fact, they still write down personal messages and make videos of them and other friends. They also put a lot of pictures which kidnapers can actually use for identifying their victim. Even if you don’t have a Facebook account or something, your friends may include you in some pictures exposing you. Practically everybody is involved. If you get involved in the social media there are few ways to protect yourself. One of them is firewalls which try to block all viruses. Also porn is a big Issue in the social media. Being a minor or not, you can still see porn in the social media.

At the rate social media is growing, we will be learning from the internet instead of books in no time. This could drastically change everything. Books are very reliable although some of the same subject may be different. Still, in the social media there are all kinds of wrong information. As you can see, there are many ways to exposing to danger in the social media but not many ways of protecting yourself. Practically we will be ruled by this social media really soon. You may think it won’t happen but it probably will. There is no point in starting some sort of campaign against this. Social media is so big and powerful it cannot be stopped.
