Winter Vacations

This winter vacations were actually pretty exciting. You would think that I as a teenager would take a disgust feeling for Christmas and spending time with relatives but no, it was actually pretty fun. At first, when I cam out of school, I was told we were going to Mexico. I was actually mad as I cannot stand being in a car for 5 hours max. To tell the truth, I was sleeping all the ride and so I didnt care that much. First of all, we made a stop at Guadalajara. We have some relatives there and we actually spended Christmas there and not in Mexico. I have nothing against Guadalajara by the way I am writing, it is just that I thought that we were spending Christmas in Mexico. All the time spent in Guadalajara before Christmas was just a waste of time. In other words we were making time and by "we" I mean my parents and brother (forgot to mention they were with me). It was New Year's Eve and the little kids or my cousins which are barely below 8 years old all (so I cant really talk to them about some stuff) were getting their presents that day. After watching all the abnormal stuff they got because some things they got just were strange, I kind of fell asleep and about an hour later I went to bed. I have to many cousins and aunts to name them all and so nobody feels discriminated. Now, just to shorten things up as I have many other stories but I cant tell them all, I got for Christmas a PlayStation 3 and a metal thing to excersise. Then I went to Mexico and spended New Year. Later on I went to my home and played lots of PlayStation...

I wouldnt change a lot of my vacations. To tell the truth it was way more exciting than what I just wrote peviously, but, there are some minor details which I would change like traveling by plane. That would have been a lot faster going to Mexico but way more expensive. Also, I would have changed some time that I spent doing nothing to doing something creative. That is mostly all I would change.

Going to another topic which is what would my dream vacation be, well, it be really complicated. It would be in a sunny beach with clear waters and lots of time to spend in it. Also, a nice hotel would be really appreciated and some other tropical enviroment around. Now just to compensate this dream vacation, lots of fun would be needed. Seriously, there is nothing more I wish this boring and kind of shady day for me right now.

Roller coaster tycoon reflexion

Little hand made rollercoasters are pretty hard to make. They take a lot of time and that is what twelve graders did. All of them sure looked interesting but after two of them things got a little boring.
Well, now starting with the reflexion, I have to say that I didn't enjoy them that much. First of all was a Dragon coaster and the design was pretty cool. The only bad thing was that it wasn't that well done. I give it a 48/60.Later on we went to a football design coaster. I have to say that this one was pretty dull in colors and design but it was about Mexico so I'd would say an average coaster. There isn't that much to say and so I give it a 42/60.After that one we went to a candy land coaster. It was actually pretty good designed with colors and structure. I thought that one was the most colorful and it actually wokred pretty good. I give that one 60/60.Later on was a city one. I thought it was pretty creative by using buildings but it lacked with structure. I think they spent more time on background design than the coaster itslef. I give it a 46/60.There was alsot this Wonder Land coaster which again was dull in design. It had a few spins in the structure but it didn't work so good so I think that one was not as good.At last was some kind of zoo or something. It was actually pretty dull in structure too but it worked so it would have been an average. I give it 40/60.
I think most of them took time but they weren't very good and so I think we are here to improve so I leave no more comment.

Guest Francisco reflexion

Francisco, the mexican who went into United States leaved me a very shocking thought. He told us about what it was like being in Iraq. I never imgained that people were ordered to do such barbaric things. I guess that those people didn´t have a choice. It is really awful too that people or in this case the politicians lie to their own troops just to get what they want. The troops are fighting for many reasons that they have been told but the truth of their prescence in Iraq is something they don´t know. I just think that people must really have a hard time and we can´t judge them of being that dumb or cruel. We should actually harass the politicians. Apparently the politicians even lie to the civilians and so on but I guess that after this event I hava changed my way of thinking of them.

Who am I?

I am a very discrete character. I don't like showing off as attention doesn't suit me. Still, I have a sense of humor but I don't like showing it. I am cold in emotions except when I get some kinda og sugar. This really puts me in a crazy status. People could say when they see me crazy, "Oh, look at that man, he must be very energetic and happy". No, appearances can be deceiving. I really dont have any issues whatsoever responsible for my cold conduct, it is just the way I am.

In school, I really don't communicate with lots of people. I only have this person who is kind of like me but he is really mad. I say he is a very dark character. So, I mostly stay in my place during class and listen to the teacher. I am a good listener and student. Actually, I am very bright. I'd say I am a gifted child and I am not overrating myself. It is just that I don't like attracting any kind of attention and so many people think I am average. I can do many things in my head specially math. I don't like math as it is very easy and not challenging. I like things that applies using my head. Unfortunately in my math class, which is 2 grades above from my regular class, is very easy. I am mostly high average in any other class and could be better if I put effort on it but I am lazy sometimes.

Out of school and don't have much to do. I live near a beach which creates entertainment some days. I have brother and he is so annoying. He is older than me but to tell the truth I am way stronger and bigger than him. Thats another thing, I am very strong physically. I try to excersise every day. You could say I am a very nice guy but I don't relate to other people. Thats one of my problems, not that I have many. I practice Tennis every day which makes me pretty strong as my teacher expects the best of me. I have to say that I do relate/communicate with my parents as they are family and even that is annoying me. I really don't have many things to do in my house but to excersise, read a book, eat or use a computer. My favorite books are the Artemis Fowl series, Catcher in the Rye and some others. Movies are another thing which are sometimes involved in my life. I like some old movies and almost all that include Tom Hanks. Movies nowadays are to dull/boring and blood. Now going to laptops, they can be some sort of major entertainment in my life. I dont have any blog in the internet in exception of http://www.blogger.com/ which is where I am writing this. Take in mind that this doesn't include Facebook, Myspace, etc.. I mostly play a lot of video games in the internet and that is getting me bored. I am not planning to suicide but my life does get really depressing and boring sometimes.

Now you are probably wondering about my likes and dislikes because I just told you so. I find somewhat hard to write this because of my not showing emotions thing but who cares, It is work that counts for grades and I don't want my grades going down. Well, I like Tennis as you may have suspected. Music I am not to crazy about but I do like 70's and 80's music. Some examples are Queen, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Billy Joel and more. I don't like modern music from where I am from as it is really bad. For some reason my classmates love that music and that just make me think if they are crazy. Video games are part of my life and I like them. I have a special list of games which I like and I don't mean X-Box 360 or PlayStation 3. The games from those consoles are to bloody. I don't have a weakness at the sight of blood but I just find all that blood unnecessary (Dont know if that is spelled correctly). Also, I may have misspelled some words here because I don't have spell check and I write fast. Back to video games, I like computer ones as I have only a laptop presently know. I like strategy games and RPG. They are those games that you level up and stuff but that is not what I am here to talk about.

This is mostly of what it is Involved in my life. I can't tell you more of myself as I cant think of more. Just to conclude I am a simple guy who likes to live its life and keep on going. Oh, and I forgot that I don't give up no matter what the situation is (except if the situation is obvious that I am going to loose). My life may be kinda boring sometimes but it isn't routine. Many new things happen some days and I hope they will keep on going. My name is Eduardo and I am from Mexico. That is the last fact you need to know. EFFECTS
Once again we played with audacity. I say PLAY because we really dont know what we are doing. Mostly people and I used recorded sounds. Sometimes there was some downloaded song or sound but that was the minority. I did the same as most did. I recorded some sounds and then downloaded some sound that could blend all the song. All the rocorded sounds were sqeauls and some strange noises and so again I say people played with the program. Everything was pretty simple. There was no comlexity in the songs.

Today I had a chance to see many people's Audacity recordings. I cant really say that many were bad and mine was too, but, mine was a bit better. I am not overrating myself, it is the truth. Although, there were 3 or less people that had something really worked out just like myself but theirs were a little better or the same. There is nothing much to say but that my classmates were being lazy. They spended their time wathcing videos and so I dont blame their poor work. My conclusion is that som people like to work and other just take advantage of the situation and just play.

Audacity Review

The mashup was challenging and partly easy. Making the sounds was easy, the challenging part was knowing which sounds to insert which was very frustrating. If I were to judge which was the best Audacity file in the class, I would say mine because its the only one Ive heard and the others I heard from other projects, well, they weren't very good. Probably if I had to do everything again next year, I would change all of it as much of the sounds are looped but they do have a catchy sound.

Mashup

Audacity is a very complicated program. This makes my review kind of offensive to my team members although I cannot say a lot of good things about my mashup either. First of all I heard Laura's mashup. Hers wasn't very creative but I did like how she actually took her time and messed with some tools. Then was Adriana's. This one was not creative at all. It was just a couple of songs one after another but the songs were cut at somepoint. Then another song came in so yeah... I can only say one good thing about her mashup, she took her time selecting the songs she would use. Then was Thomas's mashup. He did take his time organizing his sounds which is a good thing but sometimes it just sounded random but otherwise it was a good mashup concerning that it was his first time using it. At last was Rodrigo's, well actually it was not at last as our team members didnt have the pleasure to hear his mashup. I conclude that everyone makes mistakes the first time.

I must say that my mashup was more creative as my team members. I am really not selfish or something as to write bad stuff about them but I did take my time. I really liked how I have a principal song and add some noises to it. It fits pretty well. I really thought it was good until the day the speakers didnt work for some reason. I messed with the tools in Audacity without knowing what would happen without sound. I finally got the speakers to work and the principal song was to loud. I had to show it to my team members and so I did. I left my work with the principal song overflowing with its sound almost the whole speakers. If only I had more time to work on it the mashup would have ended fine. I conclude that everybody needs some experience in something to make something right.
